Restoration Voices Volume 2: Insights and Stories of the Doctrine and Covenants

This volume is part of a two-part series exploring the people and stories of the Doctrine and Covenants. While volume one provided historical vignettes of people mentioned in the Doctrine and Covenants, this volume explores insights and stories associated with each section of the Doctrine and Covenants. Each "insight" covers one section of the Doctrine and Covenants, and overs a personal view into some of the events surrounding that section's creation. Some insights focus on the location that revelation was given, while others explore a major doctrinal theme from that revelation, or an unusual story that occurred in relation to that revelation. Susan Easton Black draws from her extensive knowledge of Church History, as well as from the words of prophets and apostles in General Conference.
