Skyler graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelors of Media Arts. His background is nonfiction media production. He has a variety of experience in the video production world, including motion graphics, sound design, color grading, video editing, cinematography, and producing. He currently produces the Scripture Central original show, "Let's Get Real" with Stephen Jones.
