Lynne Hilton Wilson is one of the founders of Scripture Central. A popular BYU Education Week presenter and accomplished scholar, her extensive academic background includes a degree in university studies and nursing from Brigham Young University, an M.A. in religious studies from Cardinal Stritch University, and a Ph.D. in theology and American history from Marquette University. She has presented and published papers widely, including for the Society of Biblical Literature, the Sperry Symposium, and the BYU Religious Studies Center. Dedicated to teaching the gospel, Lynne has also volunteered with the Church Educational System for 15 years across France, Belgium, Wisconsin, and at Stanford University.
Lynne lives in Utah, with her husband, Dow R. Wilson (CEO of Scripture Central), and is the mother of seven children. Outside of her academic and gospel teaching pursuits, she is an accomplished cellist who has played with the BYU Philharmonic and Chamber Orchestra.
