Daniel Smith serves as the Director of Messages of Christ at Scripture Central. Approaching a decade with the organization, he oversees his team’s scripting, research, and 3D modeling of historical sites like ancient Jerusalem and the Tabernacle. He also leads the ScripturePlus app steering committee, shaping its overarching strategy and development. Daniel holds a Master of Public Administration and a bachelor's in facility management from Brigham Young University. He served a full-time mission in Peru and California (2000–2002). His subsequent church service includes time as a Sunday School president, teacher, and ward clerk.
Originally from Arvada, Colorado, Daniel now resides in Springville, Utah. A scriptural history enthusiast, his interests include cooking, building with LEGO, and studying ancient history. Blending his personal hobbies with his professional work, he frequently collects and crafts physical replicas of biblical artifacts. Daniel loves working at Scripture Central because of its unique capacity to help people vividly visualize the stories of the scriptures.
