Abstract
This piece received an Honorable Mention in the 2019 Book of Mormon Central Art Contest.
The brother of Jared experienced many great answers to his prayers, but the greatest can be found in Ether 3. The Lord manifested himself to the brother of Jared while accomplishing a great miracle. The imagery used within the text highlights the brilliant light; the light and power of God that engulfs the Brother of Jared is brighter than that of what man can do, or even more than the moon and the stars in the night sky, and so I attempted to portray this in my painting.
