Nations Will Acknowledge the Lord (45:14–17)

The Lord | “The wealth of Egypt, and the merchandise of Cush, will pass over to you and be yours; They will pass over to you in chains, and bow down to you; |
People of stature | ‘Surely God is with you, |
Isaiah | 15Truly You are a God who hides Yourself, O God of Israel, 16All of them are shamed and confounded; 17Israel is saved by the LORD |
The Lord (to His people) | You will not be shamed |
The Lord Is God of the Whole Earth (45:18–25)
Isaiah | 18For thus says the LORD, who created the heavens, and made it. He did create it—not a chaos— |
The Lord | “I am the LORD, 19I did not speak in secret at a place in the land of darkness; I, the LORD, speak the truth, 20Assemble yourselves and come; They who carry their idol of wood know nothing; 21Declare and bring it forth. Who announced this long ago? And there is no other God beside Me, a righteous God 22Turn to Me and be saved, for I am God, 23I have sworn by Myself; For every knee will bow, 24Moreover, let it be said: |
