Diana Angulo is a composer, pianist, conductor, arranger, singer and music translator born and raised in Mexico. At the age 7 she started with piano lessons. She participated in the orchestra of Benemérito de las Americas playing the violin, the oboe, percussions and piano. She became the orchestra’s conductor for a several months after graduating. She studied music education at BUAP in Puebla Mexico. She then served a full time mission in the Mexico City Northwest Mission. Upon finishing, she got a scholarship to study at BYU-Idaho and decided to start her career over. At BYU-I she worked as a piano accompanist for choirs in the school and the community such as Women 's Chorus and Vocal Affinity. In 2020 she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Music with composition and piano pedagogy as her specialties. She started teaching music in Spanish through social media where she was able to reach more than 100K people. Music translation is one of her biggest passions. She’s worked with several composers to translate their music to Spanish. In April 2023 she premiered her translation of Rob Gardner’s Lamb of God in which she had been working since 2018. In 2022, she happily accepted the invitation to join Scripture Central. She is now the presenter of the program “Escrituras y Música” presented in all social media platforms, where she teaches about the gospel of Jesus Christ through a weekly class, short videos and music she arranges and records every week.
