Scott Woodward

Scott Woodward serves as a managing director and content producer at Scripture Central, and is a co-host of the popular Church History Matters podcast. He is also a professional Latter-day Saint educator, having taught in the Church Educational System for two decades across Seminaries and Institutes, the BYU Religion Department, and currently as a member of the BYU–Idaho religion faculty. A frequent speaker at BYU Education Week and Church symposia, Scott holds a Ph.D. in instructional psychology and technology from Brigham Young University.
Scott lives in beautiful Rexburg, Idaho, with his wife, Sara, and their five children. When it comes to his favorite things, peach cobbler is his dessert of choice. He is passionate about the work he does, loving the opportunity to help people learn ancient and modern Church history and doctrine—and ensuring they have an enjoyable time doing so.
