Originally from Mexicali, Baja California, he attended Benemérito de las Américas high school in Mexico City, served a full-time mission in the Mexico Torreón Mission. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a specialization in Financial Management, a Master's in Administration, and a Doctorate in Administrative Sciences.
Together with his wife, Alma Karina Camarero Enríquez, they have five children: Alma Nayeli Inda Camarero, Odette Naomi, Nancy Aimé, Abish Naily, and Yuni Alonso.
He has served as a Gospel Principles teacher, Young Men's advisor at the ward level, elders quorum counselor, stake Young Men's counselor, stake secretary, ward Young Men's president, Seminary and Institute teacher, second counselor in the branch presidency, branch president for eight years, and Sunday School president, elders quorum president, and Bishop. Currently, he serves as the second counselor in the stake presidency in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.
