Church history expert and explorer, Casey Griffiths sets off to find the location of the lost city of Zion and the New Jerusalem promised in the Doctrine and Covenants. His investigation begins in Independence, Missouri, where he meets friend, colleague and Missouri expert Scott Woodward. Following a clue in an old 1830 copy of the Book of Mormon, the two complete a mad dash across Independence to several sacred sites from early Church History. This includes walking around the original temple plot and examining an early Church plan to build 24 temples over just two city blocks!

In Far West, the two explore the remnants of a once thriving community of Latter-day Saints and discover a monument with sacred revelations carved in stone. Eventually the team ends up at Adam-ondi-Ahman, the future site of a grand council where Jesus Christ himself will meet with the leaders of all dispensations and receive their stewardship in preparation for His Second Coming!
