Understanding Feast of Trumpets or Rosh Hashanah

The last days as described in Matthew 24 may make us anxious and afraid. The symbols found in the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah), assures us Christ brings peace through his loving grace. Just as the blowing of the trumpets signaled to Israel the time to prepare for the holiest of days, the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), so too should we listen to the trumpets that have sounded and spiritually prepare to meet our Lord and Savior.
