Hi, my name is Daniel Smith and I love learning about the life of Christ! My hope is to help transport you into the teachings of the Savior through historical, cultural, and visual storytelling. I&rsquo;ll do this using artwork, 3D recreations, archeology, and more. I&rsquo;ll focus on the life and teachings of Christ, the events of Holy Week, and the context of the Jewish Feasts and ancient temple worship. 
I started the channel in 2009 after having had the chance to live in Jerusalem for two months. This was a life-changing experience and I desired to share some of the things I learned. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, though I work to appeal to all faiths. I work for an amazing organization called Scripture Central. My hope is to help others hear, come, and know Christ through these messages.

This condition was not only a physical ailment but also carried significant social and spiritual stigma. Lepers were often isolated from their communities to prevent the spread of disease and to maintain ritual purity.In the Gospels, Jesus demonstrates compassion and divine authority by healing lepers, a notable example being the cleansing of the ten lepers in Luke 17:11-19. This healing not only restored their physical health but also reinstated their place in society and their ability to worship in the temple.Lepers in the Bible symbolize both human suffering and the power of faith, healing, and restoration through God’s grace. Their stories highlight themes of mercy, gratitude, and the breaking of social barriers.Relevant Scriptures:Leviticus 13:45-46“The leprous person who has the disease shall wear torn clothes and let the hair of his head hang loose, and he shall cover his upper lip and cry out, ‘Unclean, unclean.’ He shall remain unclean as long as he has the disease.
