<p>In this Christmas episode, Scott Woodward and Casey Griffiths reflect on completing their yearlong deep dive into the Doctrine and Covenants and announce that <em>Church History Matters</em> will return in 2026 to its original format of multi-episode series tackling complex and controversial issues in Church history, rather than following <em>Come, Follow Me</em> for the Old Testament. They preview several planned topics&mdash;including women and the priesthood, the Word of Wisdom, Brigham Young, Zion, and science and religion&mdash;with the first 2026 series focusing on how faith and scientific inquiry can coexist.</p>
