Did Lehi quote Shakespeare?

Some early critics of the Book of Mormon suggested that Lehi’s language shows evidence of modern borrowing from William Shakespeare, however the themes of death and the grave as the place of no return were commonly discussed anciently. Similar language can be found in other ancient Near Eastern texts. Lehi’s words on this theme are at home in the world from which he came.
