Abstract
In this article, Sperry analyzes the Assyrian and Babylonian similarities to the Hebrew Urim and Thummim to find a better translation than the unsatisfactory “lights and perfection.” He concludes that a better translation is “revelations and visions” or “revelations and manifestations.” He speculates on the manner in which the instrument functioned.
