Abstract

Daniel Webster Jones went with a company of men from Missouri to fight in the war with Mexico. He was taken to Provo to recuperate from a gun accident and was introduced to the Book of Mormon. He was the first to translate portions of the book into Spanish with Mileton G. Trejo.
