Abstract

This article is a response to an article in the Edinburgh Intelligencer (7 April 1841), which accused the Book of Mormon of being “a pretended revelation.” Pratt calls the Book of Mormon “a marvelous work and a wonder.” He defends against the accusation that the Book of Mormon is a forgery of Spaulding’s manuscript.
