Abstract
This article is a poem about the prophet Mormon
MORMON.
A Prophet thou, whose ancient voice
Goes forth to men of many climes—
To bid them make of God their choice
In these, the “fulness of the times.”
Thy name is heard in many lands—
And held for good and ill;
Thy message reaches human hands
From out Cumorah’s hill.
The book which bears thy name
Is spread upon the earth,
To gain a sacred fame
When men shall know its worth.
We owe thee many thanks
For the message we’ve received,
For the mercies which God grants,
To those who have believed.
