Abstract
The Book of Mormon quotes twenty-one whole chapters and parts of other chapters of Isaiah. The authorship of Isaiah has been questioned by prominent scholars, and this “higher criticism” brought about the disintegration of belief in the unity of Isaiah. Some have faithfully held to the belief of unity and Sperry gives their reasoning.
