Abstract
A historical essay on the Hawn's Mill Massacre, which took place in the eastern part of Caldwell County, Missouri. Taking place during the Mormon-Missouri War of 1838, it was perpetuated by members of the Livingston County militia on innocent Latter-day Saint settlers following the Battle of Crooked River.
