Abstract

The New Testament contains numerous witnesses of the divine status or divine mission of Jesus Christ. In addition to the many miraculous deeds and fulfillment of prophecies that demonstrate that Jesus is the Christ and Son of God, these sacred records contain many direct verbal declarations of this crucial truth. This chart lists the main instances of open acknowledgment that Jesus is the Holy One, the Lord, the Son of the living God, the Messiah and Savior. These testimonies are borne by God the Father, Jesus himself, the chief apostle Peter, and the other apostles, including Paul.
