Abstract
Building on Alma’s metaphor of the seed, Amulek taught the poor among the Zoramites about mankind’s fallen condition and our universal need of Christ’s Atonement. Like Adam and Eve, who had been cast out of the Garden of Eden, these Zoramites had been cast out of their places of worship. In these humble circumstances, Amulek’s message of redemption through Christ must have been especially meaningful and encouraging.
