Abstract
Honorable Mention in the 2020 Book of Mormon Central Art Contest.
This piece depicts the strength, courage, and resilience of Helaman and his 2,000 stripling warriors as depicted in Alma 56:41-50. As a young boy, Jacob McCarthy loved watching cartoons and anime because of the stories and artwork. Through the years he worked to improved my skills, but it wasn’t until he read the Book of Mormon at age 17 that he started drawing stories from The Book of Mormon. Since then he has enjoyed drawing these amazing stories and hopes to one day draw a book or show of The Book of Mormon.
