Abstract
A righteous man living in the land of Nephi. He is commanded to prophesy to King Noah and his people and is imprisoned for it. He challenges and confounds the king and his priests, and is protected by the power of God, until his message is delivered. To seal his testimony, the Lord allows King Noah to slay Abinadi by fire. Alma, a young priest of King Noah's court, is touched by the power and truth of Abinadi's words and becomes a powerful missionary for the Lord, bringing many to a knowledge of their God. Gideon is also touched by Abinadi's words and references his prophesy to king Limhi in Mosiah 20:17, 21 Mosiah 11 - 17Subject Keywords
