Isaiah | 60 1Arise, for your light has come, 2For behold, the darkness will cover the earth, but the LORD will arise on you, 3And nations will go to your light, 4Lift up your eyes around you they all gather together; your sons will come from a distance, 5Then you will see and be radiant; because the abundance of the sea will be turned over to you, 6A multitude of camels will cover you; They will carry gold and frankincense, 7All the flocks of Kedar will be gathered to you; |
The Lord | They will come up, with acceptance, on My altar. 8Who are these that fly like a cloud, 9Surely the islands will wait for Me. |
Isaiah | First, the ships of Tarshish, bringing your children from a distance, unto the name of the LORD your God, 10And foreigners will build up your walls, |
The Lord | For in my wrath, I smote you, 11And your gates will be open continually; that they may bring the wealth of the nations to you, 12For the nation and the kingdom that will not serve you will perish, 13The glory of Lebanon will come to you— to beautify the place of My sanctuary, 14The children of those who oppressed you will come bending low to you, and they will call you, |
