Blessings for the Righteous (57:13b–21)
The Lord | 13But he who takes refuge in Me will possess the land |
Isaiah | 14And He will say, |
The Lord | “Build up, prepare the way; |
Isaiah | 15For thus says the High and Lofty One, who inhabits eternity, |
The Lord | “I dwell in the high and holy place and with the contrite and lowly in spirit, 16For I will not contend forever, because the spirit would grow faint before Me, 17I was angry at the iniquity of his covetousness. I smote him, hiding, and I was angry, 18I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; 19creating the fruit of the lips. |
Isaiah | says the LORD, |
The Lord | “and I will heal him. 20But the wicked are like the tossing sea, for it cannot be quiet, |
Isaiah | says my God. |
