The Lord | 3Hearken to Me, O house of Jacob, who were carried by Me from the belly,[1] 4and even to your old age, I am He; I have made, and I will bear; 5To whom will you liken Me and consider Me equal, 6Those who pour gold from a bag hire a goldsmith, they bow down, 7They lift it upon the shoulder; They set it in its place, If [they][2] cry to it, |
The Lord | 8Remember this and stand firm; for I am God, and there is no other God, 10Declaring the end from the beginning, Saying, “My counsel will stand, 11Calling a bird of prey from the east, Indeed, I have spoken, I will bring it to pass: 12Listen to Me, you stubborn of heart, 13I bring My righteousness near; And My salvation will not delay. |
