The Lord | 9“Women who are at ease, rise up, hear My voice! 10Days beyond a year, carefree ones will quake, because the vintage will fail, 11Tremble, you women who are at ease; strip and gird {sackcloth} upon your waists, over pleasant fields, 13On My people’s soil yea, upon all the exulting houses, the town of revelry, 14because the palaces will be forsaken, The citadel and watchtower will become desolate spaces forever, a joy of wild asses, |
Isaiah | 15Until the Spirit from on high is poured out upon us, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, 16Then justice will reside in the wilderness, 17And the effect of righteousness will be peace, |
The Lord | 18And My people will live in a peaceful habitation, 19And when it hails, coming down on the forest, 20Happy, you who sow beside all waters |
